Manglish...

well the pictures aren't that clear.. but here are 2 examples of malaysian english that i encountered...

the first one was in a bungalow in A'famosa resort.. went there for the Raya Haji...
Water heater : please switch on at least 10 minutes to let it hot..

this was taken from a patient's charts when i was doing gynaecology.. my last posting for semester 9...
the patient was reviewed by a dietetic student and the lecturer certified the notes that he wrote..
patient had ovarian cancer and the observation was..
"pt look very illness.."

p/s: yes i'm mean.. and i also need a better camera to capture this gaffes...

i've been wanting to post this from last week.. it's been slipping my mind..
Al-fatihah kepada arwah ibu dr Zain dan arwah ibu Dr Zainab who passed away in the past
month.. and Suharto , the man who ended the malaysian-indonesian confrontation.. semoga Allah mencucuri rahmat ke atas mereka.. dan tempatkan mereka di kalangan org2 yg diredhai-nya..

well.. on sunday night as i was trying to burn time after bosan2 study .. i went out and watched the tv.. i'd watch anything most of the time.. and well me and rahman tuned into 8tv.. then i remembered there's this new show that they've been hyping up for the past month.. ghost.. beyond the grave etc2..

well .. we saw the pilot episode.. and to tell you the truth.. it's actually quite interesting due to the fact that they're trying to tell a story which is quite different from the normal fare that you get normally..

heck i just realised it's 2a.m. on the 1st of february.. that means there's only 12 days to exams..
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...

currently i have a headache... unknown cause.. probably the insomnia..
insomnia .. no cause at all.. i have ruled out stress..
pain in ze ankle... due to the fact that some numskull who doesn't know when to stop ,trying to relocate my ankle with a sliding tackle..
i'm seriously lacking motivation..hmm scratch that.. lacking direction in studying..
exacerbated by the fact that i just had opthalmo revision class with prof C.S.R ... i just remember the word.. the lower jone... or was it zone? hahaha
not helped by the fact that the internet@screamyx@devil incarnate has been acting up recently..
don't get me wrong.. it has been acting up for quite a while already.. but now it's actually surpassing itself in it's goal of annoying the h3ll out of me..
i've been wheezing for the past 3 weeks.. ack2 coughing and all the stuff.. just recently went to the doctor.. ironic that..
oh yeah... on the way to dinner with kash tonight.. we came across a python crossing the road in front of kolej mara seremban.. haha nasib sempat ambik evasive action..
hmmm here's to hoping things improve over the weekend.. waiting for the "sem 10"... pau2


heh anyhow.. let's not get distracted and pay attention to the task at hand..
i'm sure by next week i'll bring out my exam anthem from good charlotte..

bovine snatcher 2: aku tanak duduk belakang..

bovine snatcher 3: apsal aku pulak kena duduk belakang.. weh cepat aa suruh die masuk keta.. die dok buat muka blur je..

bovine snatcher 2: itu la aku dah suruh sewa lori taknak.. nak gak pakai keta buruk ko nih..

bovine: mooooooooo!!!

bovine snatcher 1: weh senyaple.. org kampung perasan karang.. rilek2.. buat cool je..

well after this , proton can pride itself in being able to actually fit a cow into the backseat of a proton wira.. seriously..

haha, well this is what actually happened in a village in Kulim, Kedah..
a band of bovine snatchers, managed to actually load a full grown cow into the back seat of a proton wira.. it was unspecified how many thieves was there.. but if it was more than 3.. i pity the one who got to sit in the back seat.. especially if he got the rear end seat.. (think hard what this means)
as they were making their getaway.. villagers noticed what was happening and gave chase..
what happened after that was, the driver crashed into a tree and they made their escape probably on foot.. leaving the cow alone..
