sidetracked .. 13/6/2006

haha i've been sidetracked from my post ' summary .. in 10 words.. screw the ten words"
haha actually i really wanted to put all the things that has been happening.. haha tapi biasa le.. i bz..

i left off on the brink of my presentation with DK.. not really my presentation..
we were due to have a CP with him on Monday which was on... hmm let me check.. monday 22nd of may.. i had to come back early as i mentioned before.. haha monday.. we went to ward 3b.. dah le LAMA GILE tunggu dia datang.. we were supposed to see him at 8am.. tapi he wasn't there.. he was doing his rounds in 3A.. haha that was the first time i was in the wards by 7.45a.m. .. haha DK induced le gamaknya.. seeing as that he wasn't there.. i took the chance.. to jalan2 sana sini..
tgk2 procedure.. my group most of them ambik kerusi.. kumpul dekat2 ngan kaunter wad.. haha didn't really want nak berkumpul kat sana. sia2 je karang kalu si DK nampak.. haha dah tentu dia tak suka..
we waited until 9am and dia tak muncul lagi.. dia saja je nak seksa semua org.. haha semua org pagi tuh sakit perut je.. haha DK induced abdominal pain..kena buat research pasal benda nih..
hmm basically semua masa tuh dah duduk2 dah.. except for me, annas ngan yuhana.. dok berjalan2 dalam wad looking for something interesting.. hmm dah2 tuh.. diaorang pun duduk gak with the whole group.. haha this is to portray how bored we were dah menunggu dia. at the same time takut.. haha masa tuh dok mengamalkan prinsip LG.. sambil2 tunggu DK dok borak ngan student nurse berinitial SN dari kelantan.. hahaha memang takda kerja tul.. sayangnya dia lagi tue setahun... =p

after that DK came in after quite awhile , he came in straight.. pegi kat satu bed... and asked someone to present the patient punya case.. nasib le it wasn't mine.. my patient was in the toilet dok mandi-manda nak kena discharge.. haha we spent quite a long time with the patient yg DK suruh present tuh..
dia dok suruh describe patient tuh.. haha semua try le.. patient ada canula la, patient flat on the bed.. patient confused la.. haha in the end.. ape yg dia nak was
the patient appears to be very ill , which shows that he needs prompt and close attention from the attending staff.. he stressed VERY ILL haha.. talk about stating the obvious.. but in a way.. i liked him in a sense. that maybe he's a very humane and patient oriented.. which is nice..

hmmm i assisted in suturing a patient's head and also performed a proctoscope on a patient in pd... hahaha..

the exams were stressful to say the least.. but alhamdulilah i passed all the exams for fam med and surgery albeit borderline passes... passes nevertheless...

i've started internal med posting and i'm more or less enjoying the posting.. i'm posted in dato kew's punya wad.. she's very pleasant and nice.. but she has the tendency to squeeze answers out of you..

there's been a few notable happenings in the ward..

i've nearly been bitten twice by my patients.. one was very passive.. and when the doctor tried to prick a needle.. he became reactive and tried to bite my hand off.. nasib sempat mengelak..
the second incident.. the patient tetiba bgn.. dia berjaya pull off dia punya restraints and wanted to bite his wife.. i head to hold the head and hands..ish2.. lepas nih kena menambahkan kekuatan utk restrain patient lagi..

er as u see this post has been in my draft section for the past one month.. and i have no intention of carrying on with this post.. huhu dah lama dah habis..
