3 in a row??

i've been missing quite often from updating this blog...
with the trouble that i had to go through to get a new router to replace the busted old one.. and also due to the fact that last week.. the fibre optics dok wat hal... it has not really been a great time with me and the internet.. most of the time i would just access during the weekends when i go back to KL..

and even then i'd be to tired to post anything.. so in conjunction with labour day...
just taking some time to write some birthday wishes.. for ze old farts..

to Didi who celebrated her birthday on the 22nd of March 2008 and to Lydia Parasit.. who celebrates hers today.. Slamat Hari Libur Dong... and Yuhana.. 2nd of May 2008...
not forgetting.. Kak Pah.. 24/4/2008 where she celebrates her 29th birthday...
take this as your birthday presents la ye... hahaha i'm broke and i'm a cheapskate... haha

well you've guessed it...
the only thing that'll ever induce me to post online would be a game..
especially a game when liverpool 'lose'

so basically we lost 3-2 to chelsea after extra time , with one penalty going their way and another one for liverpool not forthcoming.. however i won't bi*ch about it to the ends of time.. maybe just in the above line..

well.. to be honest... liverpool were the underdogs.. and seperti biasa.. in the first half.. main macam sampah.. with very weird player selections and substitutions.. when you follow liverpool you get used to it.. so basically i pronounce that liverpool's season is officially over with a few meaningless matches left in the league... however being the "enthusiastic" person that i am... we've come far in one season.. another few tweaks here and there...

• namely to send a norwegian defender swimming with the fishes...
• get someone to replace the spaniard in the middle of the park..
  
• etc2 u get the point.. i wouldn't know what would be the best.. but let's improve more..

this post is not here to justify the lost or anything..
but looking from another perspective... 2 champions league final, 1 semi final and 1 champions league champions in the space of 4 years is quite an achievement.. we'll do it again next year... insya-Allah..

i'm disappointed that liverpool lost.. however it's not be all and end all of things...
there's a reason why the anthem is You'll Never Walk Alone...
with all the good times, there would be bad times...
good times - the 5 champions league titles, 18 league titles, a lot of other things...
bad times - heysel, hillsborough where people lost their lives... in comparison to a defeat by chelsea??
that's what legacies are built on...
you win some... you lose some.. in liverpool's case in europe.. it sounds more like you win most of it.. lose some... i'm grateful for that.. so let's put things in perspective.. and not slit our hands or anything ya... we'll come back stronger...
we'll be there in Rome 2009.. insya-Allah...
