what a day today has been.. and it's not even 3.oop.m. yet..
today i went to SJMC to get my back problem looked at(finally) and my 'worst' fears was confirmed.. i've been diagnosed with a slipped disc..

MRI of the Lumbar Spine
The vertebral bodies show normal alignment and appearance.
The L4/5 and L5/S1 discs are reduced in signal. The L4/5 disc shows a central posterior
disc protrusion slightly indenting the theca but not causing significant canal, lateral recess or exit
foraminal narrowing.
The L5/S1 disc shows a right postero-lateral focal disc protrusion indenting the theca, displacing it slightly to the left and narrowing the right lateral recess and exit foramen.
The exiting right S1 nerve root may be impinged.
The rest of the discs are normal in height and signal.
The facet joints and the rest of the root formation are normal.
Normal appearance of the conus medullaris
Cord ends at L1 level.


hmm.. this is bad news indeed as most probably i'll be on anti-inflammatory medication for the rest of my life.. but on the upside.. at least i know i hv the problem.. all along before this i've felt the pain and sometimes i've gotten the impression that maybe it was just a psychological problem in my head.. the KKS syndrome. haha thankfully not..
now i need to manage the problem insya-Allah..
